Our exceptional, friendly staff is our greatest asset. Our dental assistants and hygienists are licensed professionals who pride themselves on staying on the cutting edge of dentistry and patient communication. They are excited about what they are doing, have high standards of quality and integrity, and are motivated to achieve the best results for our family of patients.

Our dedicated and motivated staff has one primary goal—your utmost comfort! We feel it’s important that you understand the treatment that you’ll be receiving so that you can relax during the procedure. Our staff is eager to answer any questions regarding your dental care. Dori - Dori is a Jacksonville native and graduated at the top of her class from Sandalwood High School and the FCCJ Dental Hygiene Program, where she was awarded the Fetner Scholarship. Dori has been our hygienist since her graduation. She prides herself in being gentle, yet thorough in her hygiene appointments. She is also a member and past officer in the Northeast Florida Dental Hygiene Association. In her spare time, Dori is married, has a son, Mason, and enjoys working out, boating, the beach, and shopping.

Beth - Beth is a native of Clearwater, FL and moved to the Jacksonville area from Chicago. She has many years of experience in cosmetic dental offices and brought these unique skills to our office in 2002. She is Dr. Burgess' primary clinical assistant and makes your office visit as comfortable as possible. Beth is married, has two teenagers, a dog, and is a self-professed "sports freak".

Nancy - Originally from Georgia, Nancy has lived in the Jacksonville Beach area since 1978. She graduated from Fletcher High School and received her B.A. from the University of North Florida. She is the office manager and will assist you in scheduling and insurance matters. Nancy enjoys tennis, biking, reading, water sports, and spending time with her kids, Eli and Ella, and two yellow Labrador retrievers.
