Dr.
Eric Burgess
Dr.Burgess is a Jacksonville native who graduated with a Bachelor
of Science degree from the University of Florida and his D.M.D.
Degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Dr.Burgess
has received advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants
and TMJ treatment. He's a founding member of the Florida Academy
of Cosmetic Dentistry, a fellow of the International Congress of
Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and alumnus of both the Misch Implant
Institute and Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study. Dr. Burgess
is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,
Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of Laser Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Academy
of Computerized Dentistry, and the ICOI.
Dr. Burgess
has been married since 1991 to Nancy and has a son, Eli, born in
May 2000, and daughter Ella, born January 2002. In his spare time
he enjoys water sports, in-line skating, running, scuba diving, and quality time
with his family.
Dori Dori
is a Jacksonville native and graduated at the top of her class from
Sandalwood High School and the FCCJ Dental Hygiene Program. She
was awarded the Fetner Scholarship. Dori has been our hygienist
at The Burgess Center of Cosmetic Dentistry since her graduation. She prides herself
in being gentle, yet thorough in her hygiene appointments. She is
also a member and officer in the Northeast Florida Dental Hygiene
Association. In her spare time, Dori enjoys working out, boating,
the beach, and shopping.
Lisa Lisa
is a Jacksonville native and Beaches resident for the last fifteen
years. After a career at Stein Mart, Lisa decided on a career change
and graduated at the top of her class at Advanced Career Training. She is our patient coordinator for the doctor as well as our marketing and media liasan. Her infectious smile and attitude will help guide you through treatment Lisa enjoys working out at the gym, spending
time at the beach, and "cruising" with her boyfriend in
the 1967 Shelby Cobra (of course following all applicable speed
limits).
Beth Beth is a native of Clearwater, FL and moved to the Jacksonville area from Chicago. She has many years of experience in cosmetic dental offices and brought these unique skills to our office in 2002. She is Dr. Burgess' primary clinical assistant and makes your office visit as comfortable as possible. Beth is married, has two teenagers, a dog, and is a self-professed "sports freak".
Kelly Kelly graduated from Nease High School and lives in the Beaches area. She is our hygiene coordinator, assisting patients in all areas of hygiene, including insurance and scheduling matters. Her past work experiences were in customer service and she translates those skills to the dental field. Kelli is married, has a daughter, and is a dog lover. In addition, Kelly enjoys outdoor activities and sports.
Nancy Originally
from Georgia, Nancy has lived in Jacksonville Beach since 1978.
She graduated from Fletcher High School and received her B.A. from
the University of North Florida. She is the office manager and will
assist you in scheduling and insurance matters. Nancy enjoys tennis,
biking, reading, water sports, and spending time with her kids,
Eli and Ella, and two yellow Labrador retrievers.
